Carina Kee, DO

Dr. Carina Kee strives to be a partner in your medical decision-making, and she looks forward to building strong relationships with the women and families of Colorado Springs. Her special areas of interest are high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive surgery, and treatment of abnormal menses. 

Dr. Kee grew up in Arvada, Colorado, and went to CU Boulder for Biology and Chinese language. She completed medical school at Rocky Vista University in 2018, and did residency through Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

While not working, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, daughters, and dog.

Lauren Puretz, DO FACOOG

Dr. Puretz loves working with patients from menarche through menopause, addressing the unique concerns and challenges that arise in each phase of a woman’s life. Her professional interests include hormonal therapy, infertility, and the surgical and non-surgical treatment of abnormal menses, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Puretz eagerly moved to Colorado upon graduation. She is a lifelong skier and has discovered a passion for running, particularly trail running ultra distances. Outside of work, she enjoys running in the mountains with her dog, tending to her plants and garden, playing the role of mom taxi and cheerleader for her kids, or traveling with her husband.

Melinda Poland, RNC, MSN, NP-BC

Melinda Poland, RNC, MSN, NP-BC, is an experienced OB/GYN nurse practitioner. Melinda initially worked as a labor and delivery nurse, which began her love of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She became board certified as a women’s health care nurse practitioner in 1996 and practiced in Fort Collins before moving to Colorado Springs. Her professional interests include:  high risk and low risk obstetrics, first line infertility, endocrine disorders such as thyroid conditions, PCOS, adolescent gynecology, menopause management including custom BHRT, as well as routine gynecology wellness.  Outside of practice, Melinda has taught classes on adolescent development through Poudre Valley Hospital, has been a guest lecturer at the CSU symposium “Wonders of Women”, and was featured on Fox News in Colorado Springs on the “Wellness Wednesday” series featuring various topics in women’s health.   Melinda is grateful for her family of two children, three granddaughters, and husband.  Outside interests are quilting, sewing, cooking, reading the New Yorker or other new fiction novels.
